Washington students are required to take state and federal tests regularly to assess their progress as well as the progress of the educational system as a whole. Detailed information and resources on school testing can be found on the OSPI website. At our school, students take the following standardized tests:
English Language Arts (ELA)
- Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA)
- Summative in the spring for all 10th grade students and some 11th and 12th grade students
- Interims throughout the year
- NWEA for grades 9-12 Learning Assistance Program (LAP) students in the fall and spring and Special Education students in the fall, winter, and spring
Math
